After spending the last couple of months with a camp potty, and upon showing up at Awesome Possum, I decided my first priority would be to build a proper composting toilet. Prior to this, I was running to Walmart and Walgreens for #2! 😉
I followed the guidance off youtube to create the standard bucket with urine separator design. I use sawdust for the composting, and heavy leak and tear proof bags for the bucket.
Verdict: It’s nice to have a real toilet, so to speak, in my bus…without the high cost of a Nature’s Head toilet. No smell other than a hint of sawdust at times, so I’ll be installing a computer fan to vent it.
