Just an FYI in advance here.
Our rates are going to change slightly beginning on June 1st, 2021.
This is a result of increasing utility rates and additional dumpsters as well as ongoing facilities upgrades which by June 1st will include camp showers and toilet facilities so we are expecting increased water usage.
Shop rates will remain exactly where they are at $60 per hour.
Site rentals will be as follows:
1. Premium parking/DIY site with 30/50 amp electric and water will increase to $140 per week for 1 person and each additional adult will be $10 and each additional child will be $5. ($14.30 per day for individual)
2. Primitive sites with access to water is increasing from $60 per week to $70 per week for 1 person and each additional adult will be $10 and each additional child will be $5. ($10 per day for individual)
3. Sites with campers available for rent to live in while building your vehicle will be considered a combination of 1 premium site as described above and 1 primitive site also as described above. So for an individual the price for a trailer to live in combined with a place to build would start at $170 per week or $25 per day
And one last item to address here, not my rates but rather the rates of those who come here to build for others, the rates of independent contractors. I personally never pay less than $20 per hour and I suggest that as the base rate for contractors here. That is a fair beginning wage even for general labor in my opinion and every human is worth that much, especially if you want them to do great work. So if you plan on hiring an independent instead of me while you’re here please at least consider that as a bottom dollar to get help for. Thank you
